As I was working on my Price Checker project, I wanted somewhere to write down my progress and thought process so I could reflect on the work I had done. Why not create a portfolio that shows off all my work and allows me to gain a bit of experience at the same time.

For this I used Next.js, again. Now you might be thinking, "that's a little bit of overkill for a simple portfolio website, and to that, I agree. However, this wasn't just about creating a simple website, but to gain experience - everything's a learning experience if you allow it to be.

With the framework selected, I planned to have a single page website such that the navbar would scroll to the relevant section - which turned out great. I then added my resume to the front page to outline my skills and a contact form that sends me an email with the users message.

And here we are, a website that allows me to add projects and reflect on them. At the time of writing, still content to add. But it's getting there and looking the way I expected.

Hello! Contact me and say hi!
